Who did the greater deed? Clearly, Jesus’ gift to everyone in that house was far greater than Martha’s gift to everyone in that house. She was only caring for their bodily needs. He was caring for their spiritual need. We know that the soul is far more important than the body. Now, that doesn’t negate her good deed. I’m sure the Lord blesses her for it. But He also reprimands her, because she does not realize what has taken place.
